Compressor icing can occur on the suction line and the compressor end bell when running at low cargo setpoints at lower ambient and higher humidity conditions. This operation is normal and will not affect the reliability of the unit. For awareness, we have placed a label on the front of the unit. If your unit does not have the label, contact your Carrier Field Engineering Manager and one will be provided.
